“CFTC has been shown to be the most financially responsible with their funds and many people are now recognizing that as a major priority when choosing which charity to support!”

Students raised funds for children with a Valentine’s Day Balloon Sale!
We asked Kevin and Boaz from the CFTC Club at University of Western Ontario (or Western University) to tell us why they choose to support children through CFTC. Here’s what they said!
What year was the club established? How many years has the club been active?
The club was ratified 7 years ago in 2010-2011. This coming September will be our 8th year running.
What fundraising activities did the club do this year to raise funds and awareness for CFTC?
Typically our club holds bar nights and coffeehouses to raise funds. We have also done themed sales such as a Valentine’s day balloon sale.
How much did the club raise since last year?
We’ve raised $1300 since last year.
Why do you feel like students are interested in joining the club? What do they feel is important about CFTC and inspires them to join and/or donate to the club?
Students are interested in joining the club because it fits into their busy school schedule while making a philanthropic impact. CFTC has been shown to be the most financially responsible with their funds and many people are now recognizing that as a major priority when choosing which charity to support!
HUGE THANKS to Kevin, Boaz and everyone at the UWO CFTC Club for your incredible support over the years. You’ve helped so many children thrive!
